2. Đặt lại mức mực (ink level) - Wicreset cho phép người dùng đặt lại mức mực hiển thị trên máy in, cho phép tiếp tục sử dụng mực trong thời gian dài.
3. Đặt lại bộ đệm (buffer) - Nếu máy in gặp sự cố và cần đặt lại bộ đệm in để tiếp tục in ấn, Wicreset có thể giúp người dùng làm điều này.
4. Đặt lại chip mực (ink chip) - Phần mềm có thể đặt lại chip mực EPROM trên hộp mực, giúp tái sử dụng hộp mực đã hết mực.
