How to Fix Error 06008 on Epson WF C5290 Printer​

If you are experiencing error 06008 on your Epson WF C5290 printer, please follow the steps below to resolve the issue:

Step 1: Upload Firmware in Program Update Mode​

1. Upload firmware for your model in Program Update Mode.
2. Restart the printer.

Step 2: Avoid Upgrading Firmware from Epson Server​

3. After restarting, you will encounter the 06008 error. Do not upgrade firmware from Epson server.

Step 3: Upload Chipless Firmware in Regular Mode​

4. Upload chipless firmware in Regular Mode. This means you do not need to put the printer in Program Update mode. Simply install Epson original ink cartridges and run EPFWUPD.EXE utility. Follow all steps to upload firmware.

Step 4: Restart Printer​

5. Restart the printer. The error 06008 should now be resolved.
