Reset counter epson et 2806 not working

I have been trying to reset the counter on my Epson ET 2806 printer but it doesn't seem to be working. I have followed the instructions provided online but the counter still shows the same error message. Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a solution? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
