Problem with Activating Key for Epson WF2850 Printer
Issue Description:
Hi, I have been updating the Epson WF2850 printers without any issues until today. When I tried to activate the key for two different printers, the progress bar would complete but there was no confirmation or error message displayed. I did not receive a recovery code either.Troubleshooting Steps Taken
I reinstalled the license.exe file, tried different versions, and attempted to use keys purchased today. However, I encountered the same issue where there was no confirmation or recovery code provided. When I tried to use a previously redeemed key, I received an error message.Attempts to Resolve the Issue:
I have restarted the computer, unplugged the printers, reinstalled the firmware, changed USB ports and cords, and checked for any conflicting internet protections. Despite trying all these, I am still unable to activate the keys.Request for Assistance:
I need to add keys to five more printers in the next day and I am getting stressed about this situation. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Recovering Chipless Firmware using Recovery Code
If you have previously activated a printer and accidentally updated the firmware, you can use the recovery code saved during the activation process to restore chipless functionality.
